I’m Blushing

Ok, I’m not really blushing, but thanks to my new Tarte blushes, I look like I just got caught with my fly down on the red carpet!
For quite a while I have been searching for the perfect matte blush with absolutely no shimmer. Don’t get me wrong, I love shimmery blushes, which became a little too obvious when I looked through my kit and realized I have very little else! So I decided I needed to conquer my matte blush fears! I was a little intimidated when I first came across Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Blush  because they seemed bright and pigmented. I knew I would have to use a light hand with these, so I didn’t load my blush brush with a ton of product. Instead, I took it slow and was able to build the amount of color I wanted.  I couldn’t believe how pretty these colors looked once applied!  My fears went away faster than my non gel manicure and I realized I must experiment more often!
I bought 3 shades to start with and while they’re all beautiful and fresh, my personal favorite shade is Blissful.

I love those matte blushes as well but I have t actually bought any yet. I do want to try them compared to my shimmery blushes I get from Nars. I will try your Tart Blissful recommendation. Thanks @lindsaymakeup!
